We were camping on a big, flat field with roads on all sides, except for one which was forest. There were seven activities. My favorite one was the obstacle course. I ran through it in 28 seconds.
Our tents were set up all over the field. We learned fire building and how to tie knots. That was what we did at Webelos Weekend.

Webelos weekend was fun! We had fire building, archery, net crawling, knots, cooking, and relay race. My favorite was nets, my least favorite was relay race, but what I liked the most is cooking our own food. It was also fun roasting marshmallows, making fires, and ordering my den so they can lower the flag.

Webelos have many activities that usually is fun, but some of them can also be nasty and disgusting. The usual amount of people that join is 2,000 kids! The thing that was the most fun that I think was interesting was the pine wood derby races. I think it's fun so come on, and I hope you enjoy it some time, come and join the webelos.

I think that the best event was the pinewood derby. It was fun because it is fun building the cars and racing them. I also like seeing the neat designs. The most important thing to a design is the wheels, because if you put them on too tight it might not finish a race, so that's why you have to put them on loosely.

At Weblos weekend we made fires. We had to burn a string. We received points if our fire did different things. If it did the wrong thing, we did not get points.

Webelos Weekend was very fun and exciting. This is because there were many activities like cooking, obstacle courses, and knots. My personal favorite activity was cooking. It was my favorite because we got to make and taste the food. Some of the foods we made were eggs, pudding, and doughnuts. That is why Webelos weekend was fun and exciting. -- Michael Vlahakis
I thought Webelos Weekend was fun because they had many activities, such as archery, knots, health and obstacle course, net crawl and cooking. My favorite activity was knots. I liked learning about different knots, how to shoot a bow, and health.

Archery was my favorite activity but fire building was fun too. Being with my friends was also fun. I enjoyed retiring the three old US flags. In all, Webelos weekend was awesome. -- Patrick Dillon
The first thing we did when we got there was set up the tents. Setting the tents up was easy because we had our parents to help us. Next, we had dinner. The dinner was hot dogs. After that, we had to go to bed. We all shared a tent with our parents. The Boys Scouts got to sleep with two other boys scouts.
The next day was Saturday. The wake-up call was a bugle solo. After the bugle call, we had breakfast. Then, we went to the flag-raising. At the flag-raising, a group of boy scouts raised the flag while we said the Pledge of Allegiance. After that, everyone in our den had to climb under a net without hitting the bells. The bells were almost everywhere!
The highlight of the weekend was participating in the Obstacle Course. The Obstacle Course consisted of going through tires, running through cones, jumping over hurdles, diving into a mat and stepping twice on a wooden line. After that, we ran across the finish. At the end of the race, we got our finishing time. The Obstacle Course was the best part of Webelos Weekend for me.

I liked the Maryland Science Center the best. I liked the movies we saw. I liked looking at all the sites. I also liked being with friends. I liked the science center the most. -- Matt Griffin
